Christmas Tree Ornaments
- First, choose a
motif and work out the finished size (check stitch/size guide). Decide the shape you
want the ornament to be (round,oval, square,
triangle)
- Cut a card template
(make sure your motif will fit)
- Use the template to
cut two pieces of fabric and iron-on interfacing
- Press iron-on
interfacing onto fabric, then stitch motif
- Place two pieces
together, right sides facing and sew the seam
(N.B. attach narrow ribbon at this point ot hang
ornament). Clip any curves,corners.
- Turn right side out
and stuff with wadding. Try adding some pot
pourri too!
- Sew up the gap.
