Juggling Bags

You will need:

  1. 3 squares of backing fabric (size of squares 13cm)
  2. 3 squares of aida, 13cm (see end of section of design idea's)
  3. Stuffing of your choice (ie, rice, pulses, wadding, pot pourri)
  1. Stitch your chosen design on each piece of aida.
  2. Place each piece of aida, right sides facing, against the backing piece.
  3. Hand or machine stitch together, using a 1 cm seam allowance. Remember to leave a gap of approx 5 cm along one side of each bag for stuffing.
  4. Turn right side out and fill each bag with stuffing. Sew gap closed!

Design Ideas:

Be imaginative when choosing your design, a clown face, balloons, ball designs, hot air balloons, simple aeroplanes, 1-2-3, abc, the list is endless.

Co-ordinate with a drawstring bag to store them in.

Don't stick to white or cream aida/evenweave, experiment with colours. Try using primary colours, one for each bag.
